In a chat with USA Today, Michael Bay says the Decepticon du jour in Transformers 3 will be Shockwave, pointing out that The Fallen from the second movie is "kind of a shit character."

That's only one of many negative things Bay has to say about Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, adding that because of the writers strike, it was tough to put together such a massive movie so quickly. For the third chapter, though, Bay vows to correct some of those mistakes in an effort to go back to the fun of the first movie.

"This one really builds to a final crescendo. It's not three multiple endings," the director says. "One thing we're getting rid of is what I call the dorky comedy," Bay adds, meaning the racially insensitive Autobot twins are gone, although John Turturro remains. It sounds like Bay and perhaps more importantly executive producer Steven Spielberg has listened to the criticism and since they're mainly cosmetic changes, the director and his crew are implementing the fixes.

Two final tidbits: Even though Bay has been probably the most outspoken voice of dissension in the race to make everything in 3-D, Transformers 3 is going for the extra dimension. Bay has had issues with the size of the 3-D camera being too bulky to follow the action. Maybe they've slimmed down? I hope it's not going to be an upconvert.

And finally, of the story, Bay adds, "The movie is more of a mystery. It ties in what we know as history growing up as kids with what really happened." That's right: Decepticons kidnapped Patty Hearst. Cool idea!

No digás Bay... no sé, no me emociona esta película.

Yo no voy a ir al cine a ver una 3era. Eso incentiva a que sigan sacando basura como esta.
