More on TNA Rebranding, Speculation on Jay Lethal's Release

TNA recently filed to trademark the name "Impact Wrestling," which might lead to further speculation that the company plans to use that name for future branding purposes. The name might also be used for a new marketing TNA campaign, however that remains to be seen.

It's being reported that Jay Lethal's release from TNA Wrestling last week surprised a lot of people backstage given that he's a hard worker and was apparently well liked by Eric Bischoff. It's being speculated that Lethal may have been released in response to some X-Division wrestlers complaining that at the Lockdown PPV they were not being spotlighted the way they were told they would be several months ago.
