Feliz dia de Star Wars!
Los seguidores de la saga tendrán hoy a George Lucas como su dios y Han Solo como su héroe porque hoy, 4 de mayo, se celebra el 'Star Wars Day'. La festividad, popular en todo el mundo, se debe al juego de palabra en inglés 'May the Force be with you' (Que la fuerza te acompañe) y 'May the Fourth be with you' (estaremos contigo el 4 de mayo).

No se celebra el día de su estreno, ni el día en el que nació George Lucas, ni, aunque se le acerque mucho, el día del orgullo friki (dicha celebración cae en 25 de mayo). El motivo del 'Star Wars Day' es bastante curioso. Para explicarlo hay que remontarse a una entrevista con el propio creador de la saga en una televisión alemana.
Durante el transcurso de la entrevista, la conductora del programa pidió a George Lucas que repitiera la frase más famosa de Star Wars: "Que la fuerza te acompañe". El problema es que el traductor se equivocó y repitió a la audiencia "Am 4. Mai sind wir bei Ihnen", lo cual significa "Estaremos contigo el 4 de mayo.
En realidad, el juego de palabras es fácil en inglés: léase lo parecido entre 'May the Force be with you' (Que la fuerza te acompañe) y 'May the Fourth be with you' (estaremos contigo el 4 de mayo). No parece una razón de peso para declarar el día de hoy como el 'Día Star Wars', pero lo cierto es que las celebraciones se extienden por todo el mundo y #Starwarsday ya es 'trending topic' mundial.
A pesar de que no es una fiesta oficial, los geeks de la saga ha conseguido popularizar el día. Sí existe un día oficial para celebrar Star Wars, ya que el gobierno de Los Ángeles en 2007 señaló en el calendario al 25 de mayo (ese día se estrenó el Episodio IV allá por 1977) . Curiosamente, el mismo día del orgullo friki.

por lo que yo entendi, las cajas de las trilogias con yoda y vader son las versiones "por separado" verdad? o la caja de anakin niño incluira tal cual los dos boxed set dentro?
porque sino, lejos preferire comprarlas por separado, tanto el cover art de Yoda como el de Darth Vader lucen mucho mejor que el de la coleccion completa.

jics, las portadas de Yoda y Vader son de los packs por separado, cada uno conteniendo tres movies y la de Anakin con Luke es el boxset con las seis movies más tres discos de extras.
